Every EV listing shows a battery figure, labeled so you can tell them apart:
The first generation, from 2011 to 2017, used a 24 kWh battery, with a 30 kWh option for 2016 and 2017. The second generation, from 2018, has a 40 kWh battery, and the longer-range LEAF PLUS with 62 kWh was added for 2019. LEAFs use the CHAdeMO fast-charging port, and their batteries are air-cooled rather than liquid-cooled, so battery condition matters more than on many EVs.
Each listing labels its battery figure as a battery test result, the full-charge range the car displayed when we recorded it, or a typical estimate for its age and mileage. Only a test measures the battery itself.
At home, a Level 2 (240-volt) circuit is the usual setup; a standard outlet works but charges slowly. For road trips, check the car's fast-charging port and any adapters against the networks you plan to use.
Factory coverage on a used Nissan depends on when it was first sold and its mileage, and some manufacturers limit parts of their coverage to the original owner. A Nissan dealer can look up what remains for a specific VIN, and we can help you check before you buy.
Premium Autos offers financing: you can start a pre-qualification or credit application online, and approval, rates and terms come from the lender. We take trade-ins of any make and model and also buy cars outright, and you can submit your car online for an appraisal.
Test drives happen at the store where the car is: Norco at 2100 Hamner Avenue ((951) 577-1275), open Mon to Sat 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Sun 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM and South El Monte at 9640 Garvey Avenue ((626) 373-8974), open Mon to Sat 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Sun Closed. Each listing shows its store; call ahead so the car is ready when you arrive.
