Privacy Policy

Premium Autos Inc. This page describes how this website handles information.

Information you give us

When you send a form, we collect what you type into it: your name, email address and phone number, plus anything you choose to add, such as the vehicle you are interested in, a trade-in vehicle, your ZIP code, a preferred appointment time, how you plan to pay and the down payment or credit range you select. The form goes to Premium Autos Inc's lead system, and may be forwarded to its customer-management system so staff can respond.

If you ask for an estimated rate (on the pre-qualification page or at checkout), the credit-score range, income type and monthly income, time at your job and address, and whether you have a Social Security number or an ITIN are sent to our server to work out the estimate. No credit check is run. The income amount is not stored or forwarded; the ranges and the ID type go to our finance team with your request.

Our own forms never ask for a Social Security number or date of birth. Credit applications and Capital One pre-qualification are completed on secure forms from DealerCenter and Capital One, and what you enter there is handled under their policies.

Text messages and calls

When you send one of our forms, you agree, as the notice next to its button says, that we may call you (including automated and AI virtual assistant calls), text you and email you deals and price drops. We record the wording you saw and the time. Reply STOP to any text to stop texts, and use the unsubscribe link in any email to stop emails. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Mobile numbers and text message consent are not shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Details are in our SMS Terms.

The AI chat assistant asks the same questions out loud or in text (“Is it OK for Premium Autos Inc to send you text messages about your inquiry, appointments and vehicles you may be interested in, including automated texts? Message frequency varies, msg and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP to opt out. This is not a condition of purchase.” and a matching question for calls) and records your answer with the lead. Only a clear yes counts as consent; anything else is recorded as no.

Saved in your browser

To keep your numbers consistent from page to page, this site saves your ZIP code and your cash or finance choice in your browser's local storage, along with the cars you recently viewed and your recent searches so you can pick up where you left off (these stay on your device and can be cleared with the Clear buttons). It also keeps the way you arrived (such as the referring page and campaign tags) for the visit, and sends that with a form if you submit one. You can clear this in your browser settings.

Lookups the site makes

To show out-the-door estimates, your ZIP code is sent from our server to a ZIP lookup service and the California sales tax agency (CDTFA) to find the local tax rate. Vehicle details come from public sources (NHTSA vehicle decoding and the EPA) using the car's VIN, not your information. The range map loads map tiles from OpenStreetMap, which receives your IP address and browser details like any website you visit.

If you request a trade-in estimate, our server sends your VIN, mileage and ZIP code to AutoHub through RapidAPI and your VIN to NHTSA. Your contact details are not sent to those services. Valuation lookups may be cached for up to 30 days, and VIN decodes for up to a year. Contact details and the estimate are sent to our lead system only when you submit the separate appraisal form.

Analytics and advertising tools

This site currently uses Google Analytics, Google Ads conversion tracking (visitors who arrive from a Google ad may see a Google forwarding phone number, so Google can count calls from the ad; when you send us a form, a one-way coded (hashed) copy of the email and phone you entered goes to Google so it can tell which ad led to a visit or purchase, never for a visitor who opted out on Do Not Sell or Share or whose browser sends Global Privacy Control), Meta (Facebook and Instagram) Pixel, ClickCease, which checks ad clicks for fraud, an AI chat assistant from ElevenLabs (what you type in the chat and, if you use voice, your voice audio go to ElevenLabs to produce replies), Sign in with Google at checkout, if you choose it (Google shares your name and email with us to fill in the form). These services may set cookies or similar identifiers and receive information about the pages you view and, for ad conversions, that you submitted a form. Their privacy policies describe what they collect.

Showing you our ads on other sites based on your visits here counts as “sharing” under California law. You can opt out on Your Privacy Choices, and we honor the Global Privacy Control signal from your browser as the same opt-out.
