## What to check on a used BMW

- Read the vehicle history report linked on each listing and ask for service records.
- On the test drive, check the transmission shifts smoothly, the brakes feel even and the car tracks straight.
- Check tire wear on all four corners, the air conditioning, the screen and the backup camera.
- On electric models, check how the battery figure is labeled: tested, displayed range, or an estimate for age and mileage.

## Warranty basics

Factory coverage on a used BMW depends on when it was first sold and its mileage, and some manufacturers limit parts of their coverage to the original owner. A BMW dealer can look up what remains for a specific VIN, and we can help you check before you buy.

## Financing, trade-ins and test drives

Premium Autos offers financing: you can start a pre-qualification or credit application online, and approval, rates and terms come from the lender. We take trade-ins of any make and model and also buy cars outright, and you can submit your car online for an appraisal.
