## The short answer: Ontario has no Premium Autos storefront — your store is Norco, south on the I-15 to Hamner Avenue, with 498 used cars listed online first

Our [Ontario-area page](https://www.premiumautosinc.com/used-car-dealership-near-ontario-ca) gives the route plainly: from Ontario, head south on the I-15 to our Norco dealership on Hamner Avenue, at 2100 Hamner Avenue. There is no Ontario lot and no Ontario-only inventory; there is one Norco store serving Ontario, with every car listed on this site by VIN before you drive. What follows is the full stock as of October 29, 2026, the home panel-upgrade rebate an Ontario EV buyer should check before installing a charger, and the checks to run at home first. Tesla-only Ontario pages already exist on this site; this guide covers the whole lot.

## 1. What is in stock for an Ontario buyer

- **The full selection, counted.** As of October 29, 2026, Premium Autos lists 498 used vehicles across its two stores, including 198 Teslas. The [Norco used cars page](https://www.premiumautosinc.com/norco-used-cars) and the Ontario-area page show the same live stock; numbers here are an October 29, 2026 snapshot. Our Ontario city page counts 147 used Teslas at the Norco store itself as of the same date — the deepest single-store Tesla bench we list for any city we serve.
- **Tesla depth, by model.** The Tesla stock as of October 29, 2026 is 198 cars: 96 Model 3, 54 Model Y, 32 Model X and 16 Model S. Browse the [used Tesla hub](https://www.premiumautosinc.com/tesla), [used Model 3](https://www.premiumautosinc.com/used/tesla/model-3) or [used Model Y](https://www.premiumautosinc.com/used/tesla/model-y). The existing [used Tesla for sale in Ontario](https://www.premiumautosinc.com/used-tesla-for-sale-ontario-ca) page covers the Tesla-only shortlist; this guide is the broader used-car view.
- **Non-Tesla EVs worth the cross-shop:** As of October 29, 2026 the non-Tesla electric stock includes Hyundai IONIQ 5 (14) and IONIQ 6 (7), Kia EV6 (7) and EV9 (7), Nissan LEAF (6) and Ariya (2), Ford Mustang Mach-E (4), Toyota bZ4X (4), Cadillac Lyriq (4) and Mercedes-Benz EQE (4), plus smaller numbers of Chevrolet Bolt, Kia Niro EV, BMW i4 and Lucid Air. All of them sit on the [electric cars page](https://www.premiumautosinc.com/electric-cars) next to the Teslas.
- **The gasoline and hybrid side is just as deep.** Toyota (60 vehicles) is the largest non-Tesla make, followed by Hyundai (30), Nissan (26), Ford (21), Honda (19), Kia (18), Mercedes-Benz (17), Chevrolet (15), Dodge (14), Lexus (12) and Ram (11) — sedans, [used SUVs](https://www.premiumautosinc.com/used-suvs) and trucks included. One drive south on the I-15 covers both kinds of shortlist.

## 2. Home charging in Ontario: check the panel rebate before you pay for a panel

- **If your Ontario home needs a panel upgrade to charge at home, price SCE Charge Ready Home first.** The program, run by Southern California Edison and administered by the Center for Sustainable Energy, offers eligible SCE customers rebates of up to $4,200 to upgrade an electrical panel to 200 amps or higher and install a dedicated 240-volt circuit for Level 2 charging (CSE, [SCE Charge Ready Home program page](https://energycenter.org/program/sce-charge-ready-home), checked October 29, 2026). It is aimed at disadvantaged-community and income-qualifying households — it is not a general charger discount, and a home that already has a 200-amp panel does not need it.
- **The eligibility shape, from SCE’s own eligibility page:** you must be an SCE residential customer, qualify by income or by living in a designated disadvantaged community, use a licensed and bonded contractor with permits, replace a panel rated below 200 amps, and install a Level 2 charger within 180 days after receiving the rebate (SCE, [Charge Ready Home eligibility page](https://evhome.sce.com/eligibility), checked October 29, 2026). Our [home charger installation cost guide](https://www.premiumautosinc.com/ev-home-charger-installation-cost) covers the install math itself, now that the federal installation credit has ended.
- **Ontario buyers should also check SCE’s Pre-Owned EV Rebate** — $1,000 standard or $4,000 for income-qualified buyers on an eligible pre-owned EV, claimed within 180 days of purchase (SCE program details, checked October 29, 2026). It is a separate program from the panel rebate, with its own eligible-vehicle list; check both before you buy, and let SCE’s terms — not a dealership — decide eligibility.

## 3. Check the exact car before you drive south on the I-15

- **Save the VIN or stock number of each candidate.** Inventory turns over; an older article’s example car or price is not evidence about today’s lot. If a car you saved has sold, the closest matches are one filter away on the same hub pages.
- **Pull the history from the vehicle page.** Every listing includes a free CARFAX report, and the vehicle detail page has a history-report lookup by VIN or stock number — read the accident and damage history there before the trip, not at the curb.
- **Run the recall check by VIN.** Our [recall-check guide](https://www.premiumautosinc.com/check-used-car-recalls-by-vin) walks through the free NHTSA and Tesla lookups; only a VIN check on the exact car tells you whether that car is in any open campaign.
- **Smog is handled in a retail sale — and EVs never need it.** In California the seller provides the smog certificate on a private-party sale, a dealer handles certification in a retail sale, and fully electric vehicles are exempt in every model year. Our [California smog guide](https://www.premiumautosinc.com/california-smog-check-used-car-buying-guide) lays out the rules by fuel and year.

## 4. Money, stated plainly

- **The federal used-EV tax credit is gone — a new bill is not a credit.** Federal clean-vehicle credits are unavailable for vehicles acquired after September 30, 2025 ([IRS clean-vehicle credits page](https://www.irs.gov/credits-deductions/credits-for-new-clean-vehicles), checked October 29, 2026). Bills introduced in October 2026 to restore or enlarge the credit are proposals in committee, not law; do not build a budget on them, and treat any page still advertising a $4,000 federal used-EV credit as out of date.
- **California’s MyFirstEV is narrower than the headlines.** Used-vehicle eligibility runs through participating manufacturers’ pre-owned programs — a low price alone does not qualify a car — and Tesla funds under the program are exhausted. Our [MyFirstEV guide](https://www.premiumautosinc.com/california-myfirsteev-program-guide) tracks the current manufacturer list; check it before assuming any specific car qualifies.
- **Pricing and negotiation happen in person at the store** — that is our policy for every buyer. For financing, you can [get pre-qualified with Capital One](https://www.premiumautosinc.com/get-pre-qualified-with-premium-autos-and-capital-one) online before the trip; pricing and terms themselves are handled in person at the store.

## Frequently asked questions

### Is there a Premium Autos dealership in Ontario?

No. The stores are in Norco and South El Monte, and Norco serves Ontario. From Ontario, head south on the I-15 to 2100 Hamner Avenue, Norco. There is no Ontario storefront or Ontario-only inventory.

### How many used cars are available to Ontario buyers?

As of October 29, 2026: 498 used vehicles across both stores, including 198 Teslas (96 Model 3, 54 Model Y, 32 Model X and 16 Model S), with 147 used Teslas counted at the Norco store itself on our Ontario city page. The live pages carry the current count.

### What help exists for a home charger panel upgrade in Ontario?

SCE Charge Ready Home offers up to $4,200 to eligible SCE customers — disadvantaged-community or income-qualifying households — to upgrade a sub-200-amp panel to 200 amps or higher and add a dedicated 240-volt Level 2 circuit, per the program page administered by CSE (checked October 29, 2026). It covers the panel work for qualifying homes, not the car and not a general charger purchase.

### Can I check a specific car’s history and recalls before driving to Norco?

Yes — that is the point of working from the listing. Each vehicle page includes a free CARFAX report and a VIN/stock-number history lookup, and our recall guide walks through the free NHTSA VIN search. Do both at home; spend the visit driving the car, including an I-15 merge at your normal commute speed.
